On the night of Friday December 18 2009 at massive snow storm began across the Washington D.C. metro area. The storm continued until the late evening of Saturday December 19 2009 and dumped 20 to 24 inches of snow across the region.
During Saturday and Sunday, Station 15 units responded to over thirty calls.
